About a month after the last release, this is a smaller bug fix release. With less available time to work on PhotoQt over the summer overall, this delivers the bugs that have been fixed already.
The list of changes of this release is relatively short, but nonetheless the changes should be a welcome addition to PhotoQt. Most of the changes wont be immediately visible, but the few that are more visible include:
Motion photos: The orientation of the video corresponding to motion photos was not always oriented the right way. PhotoQt now checks the actual video for any orientation information which takes precedence over any other calculations done. This should fix most if not all issues connected to this.
Remembering changes: It is possible to have PhotoQt remember the position, scale, and/or mirroring of a photo during any session. These values were not properly cached before, but are once again caches and applied as expected (when enabled).
Setting up when starting up: When opening PhotoQt directly with an image, then it could happen that it is not properly set up, given the right (or rather wrong) conditions. This led to, e.g., extensions at times not being available. This has been fixed.
Smaller changes include the detection of the maximum texture limit (for photo spheres), and several code/compilation related improvements. You can find the full list in the Changelog.
